24 HOURS PARIS PEOPLE

Mi capita spesso di dover andare in trasferta di lavoro a Parigi, a volte per quattro/cinque giorni, altre volte, come questa, il viaggio dura dall’alba al tramonto. In entrambi i casi il mio umore assume sfumature degne di una psycho killer; il genocidio dei parigini diventa uno dei miei pensieri fissi, nonostante la pillola sia immancabilmente indorata da un’overdose di croissant e tarte tatin.

Come qualcuno non mancò di far notare, però, Parigi val bene non solo una messa, ma anche un tour de force di poche ore. Con un croissant in bocca, l’iPhone nella destra e un borsone troppo pesante nella sinistra, ho il piacere di introdurvi a quella che è una delle città più belle del mondo, partendo dal quartiere bohémien per eccellenza: Saint-Germain-des-Prés.

My job brings me often to Paris, sometimes for four/five days, other times, like this, the trip lasts from dawn till dusk. Either way, my mood falls within the boundaries of psychotic violence, the mass murder of all parisians my only constant thought, despite the pill being sweetened by an overdose of croissant and tarte tatin.

As someone highlighted, anyway, Paris is well worth not only a mass, but a tight tour-de-force as well. With a croissant in my mouth, the iPhone in the right hand and a cumbersome bag in the left, I’m pleased to introduce you to one of the most beautiful cities in the world, starting from the bohémien district par excellence: Saint-Germain-des-Prés.
